Precision microscopic varicocelectomy for lasting relief from scrotal discomfort and proven improvement in male fertility — day-care procedure with full cashless insurance support.
Understanding the Condition
A varicocele is an abnormal dilation of the pampiniform plexus of veins within the scrotum — essentially varicose veins of the testicle. It occurs most commonly on the left side due to the angle at which the left testicular vein drains into the renal vein.
Varicoceles are found in approximately 15% of all men and in 35–40% of men with primary infertility. The increased venous pressure raises scrotal temperature, impairing sperm production, reducing testosterone levels, and causing progressive testicular atrophy if untreated.
Microscopic varicocelectomy — the gold-standard procedure — ties off abnormally dilated veins while carefully preserving the testicular artery and lymphatic vessels, resulting in superior outcomes and the lowest complication rates among available techniques.
Why Choose Us
Step by Step
Describe symptoms — scrotal heaviness, dull ache, or fertility concerns. Care Partner arranges urology consultation, scrotal Doppler ultrasound, and semen analysis.
Surgeon grades the varicocele (Grade I–III) and evaluates whether it is causing fertility issues or significant discomfort, then recommends the ideal surgical technique.
Pre-authorisation processed and admission formalities completed by your Care Partner coordinator. Most procedures are done as day-care surgeries.
Abnormally dilated veins are ligated through a small inguinal or subinguinal incision using microscopic magnification for precision. Laparoscopic approach used for bilateral cases.
Patients go home the same day. Care Partner follow-up calls at Day 5, Day 14, and Week 6. Semen analysis repeated at 3 months to assess fertility improvement.
